About Me

Welcome! I’m Paulette R. Baker, founder of Beauty and the Beat Sisterhood Club, and I am passionate about empowering women—especially women over 40—to grow in confidence, deepen their faith, and pursue lives filled with purpose, clarity, and intention. I founded Beauty and the Beat Sisterhood Club in December 2023 to support women in their journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and transformation. (Beauty & the Beat Sisterhood)My journey in education, leadership, ministry, and personal development has been both rich and diverse. I completed the Success Mastery Business Training Program with Dr. Stacia Pierce in June 2016, completed the Proctor Gallagher 6 Minutes to Success Master Program in January 2024, and earned my Certificate of Completion from the Discover Life Church Leadership Academy in April 2025. I am also honored to be a Certified High Performance Coach through High Performance Institute, a powerful accomplishment that has strengthened my ability to help women gain clarity, build confidence, raise their standards, and move forward with greater courage, consistency, and purpose. As a Small Group Facilitator for Women, I have had the privilege of nurturing growth, confidence, and connection among women seeking encouragement and support. As a Prayer Warrior, I am committed to helping women strengthen their faith and lead purposeful, God-centered lives. I also previously served as Women’s Ministry Team Lead and Chair at New Life Christian Church, where I inspired and uplifted women while organizing annual conferences and overseeing logistics, marketing, and coordination. My leadership and service extend beyond ministry into business, community, and professional development. For over 11 years, I served as Executive Officer for New Beginnings Christian Ministries, where I actively engaged in the community and helped facilitate an annual Marriage Retreat for eight consecutive years, encouraging couples in growth and connection. My entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in 20 years of running a resale store, and my professional background includes over 20 years in federal government office management, where I developed strong organizational, administrative, and leadership skills. I have also been a committed member of the National Association for Resale Owners, serving as a Professional Associate for 15 years and empowering others through workshops and conferences, including an in-person session for the Junior League of New Orleans in 2018. My spiritual and educational foundation has also played an important role in shaping who I am today. I earned a Certificate in Theology from the Bible Baptist Institute in June 2004. My journey began in Philadelphia, where I served as Youth Builders Choir President and Young Adult Sunday School Teacher before graduating from John Bartram High School for Human Services in 1980. These early experiences helped lay the foundation for the life of service, leadership, and encouragement I continue to walk in today. Outside of my professional and ministry work, I am joyfully married to my lifelong friend, Clyde, and have been blessed with two wonderful sons and five grands who fill my life with laughter and happiness. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, thrifting, and visiting the beach.
